Hi all. I’m based in the UK and wanted to share my happiness with you. I have a lovely new girlfriend 12 years my junior (she’s 32) who loves driving, is very skilled at it and best of all loves to crank, pump and rev for me. For any of you who keep your interest to yourself for whatever reason I wanted to let you know there are open minded and kind people out there!

What does she drive?

Hi there. A manual BMW 1 series (13 years old) and a Range Rover Evoque which is 6 years old and automatic. Both usually start easily (sadly lol) but she has figured out ways to tease me in both. In the future I’ll get something a bit older and more temperamental. She’s not afraid of the gas pedal and she would enjoy a bit more of a struggle.

Excellent - I absolutely believe there are such people out there, quite a few producers who have produced a lot of material have been filming partners who have had no direct pleasure from it but were willing to perform for the benefit of their partner, and only latterly got into producing for the benefit of others.

I look forward to hearing how it goes - I would never intrude into someone else's relationship by directly asking but if you do ever feel like sharing something, do let me know!

Thank you Crankie Monster. My girlfriend loves cars and driving and does actually get pleasure from it. Without wishing to sound sexist (though probably dong so) she’s not a typical girl driver. She is very assured and knows how to get the best from a car. She’s currently trying to get me to upgrade the pld1 series to a 3 series GT sport! She has also been happy to share stories with me about difficulties she had with cars she had as she grew up - even demonstrating / reliving her pedal pumping techniques and describing how she bossed sputtering engines / use of the choke etc. Now she knows how much I enjoy it she always starts the car with ur foot on the gas - usually revving a few times gently but sometimes flooring it. She’s also figured out ways to make the cars not start and sometimes teases me that way too. As you can probably tell I am utterly in love with her - not just for this reason but I find her respect of my preferences and consideration of my feeling overwhelming. My previous partner and wife of 15 years was vile about it but that’s a story for another day.

I am happy to share anything you like. I do have candid clips of her which are my favourite and some when she knew I was recording.

Anything you feel willing to share mate, please do As another UK based fan, right hand drive cars are much more my thing, and not exactly common. Neither of the two cars you have now are necessarily up my street, but of the two the 1-series manual is definitely more my thing.

Would definitely be interested to hear about what she used to drive that put up a fight in the past too
